A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

We had something wonderful, then.
We had intimate, concrete knowledge of things beyond our reach.
We saw them, touched them, tasted them, became them, as easily as switching your grip on a steering wheel.
We carved out a place in this and all worlds, a place of safety and exploration beyond all measure.

We have strayed so far since then.

Are there any crash fixes for this game? No matter what I do I can't seem to get it to run properly. As soon as I click the start button it just stops responding immediately. It's a shame because I was really excited to play this. I can tell just by looking that it's probably great though, so keep up the good work.

Thanks so much for making this available for free, I had a lot of fun playing it! (Although I think at one point I broke it, but it worked again when I got outside) I didn't find it too dark while playing but when I was editing it I had to turn up the brightness for others to watch. I'd love to see more from this!

Can't say enough how much I love the art for this game. I love anything with that ps 1 like game and so happy I got to play it. I wish this was finished but for 10 days work it is more than amazing. well done and hope to see more games for you all

I played this game, only because another great developer rated this game.... but now I am not sure why lol. I am not saying your game is bad but I don't see what the game is meant to be. You'll see what I mean in this video (last game I play):

Gave it a go...

Wow... please do let me know when you turn the opening scene of this into something remotely playable.  I'm not sure if you think the idea of beginning in almost total darkness is clever or subversive, but it's some of the least fun I've had playing a game.  Otherwise it looks cool, though.

Played this for a 3 free indie horrors. This game literally gave me a headache, my head was throbbing by the time i got out of the starting area, not to say the game was bad in any way, but a little weird, but good weird. Definitely want to see an improvement to the starting area. I give a full in-depth review and feedback at the end of my video below!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere of this. The designs of the enemies and environments had a much more appealing look of something emulating that ps1 aesthetic. I have seen many devs try do the same and not really capture it as well as it is here. The notes hit a good balance of cohesiveness to where it wasn't so abstract it felt pointless to read but also wasn't boringly straight forward. I was even at some points getting some SCP vibes from the writing.
The only thing I'm really mixed on is the camera moving vertically with the mouse. I was constantly re-adjusting my view to see things better which while tedious also kinda added to the experience in a weird way so I am not sure how to feel about it.
Any other issues I had are merely a product of game jam constraints and could easily be resolved with time and polish. I do really hope to see this refined and expanded upon sometime in the future.

Hi there! Really interested in trying the game, but it doesn't want to download. I get an error trying to download from the itch client, and can't open the downloaded file through windows. Just wanted to let you know.

Oh, thank you !
I realised I haven't ticked any of the boxes for which platform the files are supposed to be for. It should be fixed now (tested it)
